Reaching New People

Getting people to listen to your story is not hard. Getting them to listen to your suggestion to buy into the company right now. Well that is another story. We've been telling everyone one we know and the most common thing people ask is "Is that one of those pyramid schemes?" What can I say except yes and then try to explain it to them that this business model is not like a normal pyramid and that we're actually working for each other.

I have had several people say they are definitely interested and that our energy and enthusiasim is inffectous. However no one has signed up on the spot. I think it's going to take a lot more than mere words for those closest to us to see what a great opportunity this really is. I understand this is not for everyone but at the same time I know anyone can do this. I really think it's all a matter of how passionate you are and the attitude people see and hear coming from you. Especially when your telling them to fork out at least $385 and they will have to buy a case at $120 every month. I know my friends and family don't have a lot of money so I can see why it's so hard to say yes. One thing I will note is that everyone that trys the juice is extremely impressed and they all want a bottle.

I was speaking with one of my uncles and he and I spent about an hour just talking about the company, the plan, and the products. He wasn't really showing an interest, obviously the people getting free cars and vacations peaked his interest but his reaction was always that of fear, doubt, and disbelief. After trying it, I was pretty sure he liked the juice, but just like everyone else, the moment I mentioned the price I lost him. You know something, I remembered what I heard at one of the tasting parties, I believe it was Shawn who said it, just give them the juice and the product will sell itself. So before the night was over I felt like I had to give my last bottle away. So I gave it to my uncle and asked him to just start drinking it and check out the websites for more information. He was completely shocked. He asked "You're giving me this $40 bottle of juice, for free?". I replied, sure it's what I'm doing. He looked so surprised and was really just in awe. Then he said something that was so profound to me, he said "You know, all the time you talked about the plan and the money and all the great selling points, that was great and it makes sense, but I have to say. You giving me this $40 bottle of juice for free is what makes me know that I need to do this." I could not beleive it, he was really sincere and was saying, "This may be my way out." I'm excited to know that now he is going to be looking at the bottle everyday wondering why his nephew is so excited about this new product and company, that he is willing to give away an expensive bottle of juice without any strings attached. I know he'll sign up now, just wait an see.

I had an epiphany this week. I was driving to work enjoying my morning quiet time with the Lord and I was praying asking for clarity and vision. I had been feeling discouraged and thinking to myself that this is going to be really hard, who am I going to tell, how am I going to get my friends and family to beleive that we can become millionaires if we drink this juice. So all these negative and fearful thoughts were running through my head. I began to ask the Lord to me speak to me and to reveal His plan for me. I thought to myself, " is this what he has for my life?" I can honestly say I really felt the Holy Spirit say "This is a great plan, it's 'People Helping People". It made sense, when someone signs up underneath me, they are helping me out and those above me, when we sign some one else up they go underneath that first person and now we are all helping eachother out.This concept of people helping people is what really got me thinking about just how easy this is. How we can not succeed if we've working together to accomplish the same goal.
I got really excited and I started to think, it's really that simple and makes so much sense that I have to tell everyone. I have to share this will every single person I know. They may not all sign up but I know the right person will come along and we'll work together to make this grow.

After that moment, I started calling everyone and telling my friends at work. I was just pumped when the Lord told me that it's "People helping people" I knew that I could speak to everyone with boldness and with such conviction because the truth is, we all need help, and that's for sure. Together we can accomplish anything and together we will succeed. Just remember you're gettng paid to get healthy, have fun, and share it with others. What a great opportunity we have to invest in the lives of others. Good luck out there and happy juicing!

Also, we HAVE to give this thing one whole year of our passion and excitement. If we allow ourselves to just fade away, we will quit before the miracle happens.

We are not in charge of the results, just the footwork. The results are the business of "the big guy". We are professional word-spreaders and introducers, not sales people. When I think of it in these terms, it makes it a little easier for me.
