YJ Testimonial
I was first introduced to YJ by a family friend. The authenticity of his excitement for YJ stuck with me. He spoke with genuine conviction when he highlighted the significant health benefits. Subsequent to the inspiring conversation, I did some homework on the product. With every click of the mouse, so it seemed, I stumbled into more and more testimonials describing how being involved with YJ has produced considerable changes in their lives. I must admit, I was skeptical, maybe even cynical but definitely intrigued. The concept seemed too good to be true; develop your own strategy, leverage your social world, and essentially assist in distributing better health. But after a trip down to meet with Shawn and Helena Noonan, who were wonderful and down to earth people, I realized this is no hoax. OWN had not only solid people organizing and driving it, but the product itself was excellent. The taste, coupled with the science, is tough to knock. Like the testimony on YJ DVD states, “I’ve never seen a product anywhere, anywhere that is all organic. Where you get 100 percent of all your vitamins and minerals and it’s so easily absorbable.”
About Me:
I grew up in West Vancouver. I went to school at Collingwood Secondary. I spent much of my youth devoting myself to my passion – hockey. It was one of the most important components in my life and taught me a lot off the ice as well. Hockey gave me the opportunity to compete in the Canada Winter Games as the starting goalie for my province. Due to some success I was recruited to play junior hockey, which amounted to moving away from home at 16 yrs of age. It was tough to say goodbye to your old life at such a critical time in your youth but it turned out to be a ticket to great opportunities and I have life long friends because of it. It was awkward timing when I decided to “hang’em up” because the Canadian Universities had stopped taking applications. Fortunately, I learnt that a school in Oxford, UK was still open to applicants. I applied and was accepted to St. Claire’s International School. This next chapter of my life was extraordinary. The school put emphasis on the department that focused on English, in order to further the careers of future European Union businessmen. Although I was in a much different program, focusing on European history and economics, I was dropped in the international residents. I lived in a house with something to the tune of 12 people. I believe we had 10 different nationalities in the house. Many of my friends were amateurs in the realm of English communication, to say the least. That barrier was easily surmountable as I began to find similarities that transcended borders and cultures. Following that year I headed back to the motherland and started school outside of Toronto – University of Western Ontario. I majored in Political Science, which became increasingly interesting to me in the post-9/11 world. OBAMA. I have two brothers, younger – 19, older – 29. We are each other’s best friends. We made a pact to one another that we would remain tight despite life’s attitude. Therefore, we agreed that when timing permitted it, we would move to LA together. So 6 months ago I landed my butt here, with my oldest, while the youngest goes to Pepperdine and we are here to stay.

Scrambled insight into my personality:

I have to read each Economist; love wakeskating; innately social but need privacy; try almost anything once (within reason); undoubtedly a cottage boy for life; cherish my family and friends; Aquarius; current events addict; favorite food is steak; mashed potatoes or popcorn; when I’m in a groove I love to run; Braveheart is my favorite movie; Noam Chomsky is someone I respect immensely; believe rockband the game is ridiculously fun…and funny; not a morning person; film is and will be huge in my life; kill for a good scratch back; no better high than getting out of the shower after being at the gym; GO CANUCKS GO; Warren Buffett and Steve Jobs are people I admire; can’t beat chocolate chip cookie dough; except maybe a YJ Vodka martini; fight for the values I hold dear; passionate about life.
