Almost a year and a half ago, my entire left leg went through severe atrophy due to what is believed a "One time nerve dysfunction". When it occured, I lost 3 full inches of size in my thigh and my calf muscle lost almost two inches in diameter. The overall strength in my leg was less then half of the other leg !! I graduated from the University of Alberta (many years ago it seems), with a bachelor of Arts, in Furniture Design, and a minor in Economics. I played Varsity Volleyball during my schooling and I'd have to say that I probably trained harder then I studied. I definitely read more now. When I graduated, my brother and I took over my fathers company in Calgary, and continued to build custom designed upholstered furniture . While we built up this company, I spent all of my free time training and playing Beach Volleyball. This truly became my passion for 12 years. (sometimes I wish I had done it full time). Playing on the National circuit and travelling to great different beach destinations all over the world was an amazing summer lifestyle. Eventually my back gave out on me, forcing a slightly early retirement.
One of my other passions is Real Estate, where I have a small venture company that is starting to do quite well. I enjoy watching, reading about, and playing the Real Estate markets.

I have just been doing this for 2 months. I am loving it and am every excited about where the company is going to go.
It's about time I get on here hey! (It's Sue - you know - the girl from UofA that you saw again at the Mount Royal YJ meeting).

I am bringing two guests this time and am hoping that things will work out for them.
